UPDATE: New Internships

UPDATE: NEW INTERNSHIPS 




1) Bank of America Student Leaders (PAID)

• An "eight-week paid internship at a local organization" where students learn "first-hand about the needs of [the] community and the critical role nonprofits play."

• Must be a junior or senior

• Must be able to participate in a "week-long Student Leaders Summit in Washington, DC"

2) The Princeton University Summer Journalism Program

APPLICATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 20TH, 2015 AT 11:59 PM (ETS)

• Students have the opportunity to work in professional newsrooms and are taught by reports and editors from The New York Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek, etc.

• Must be a junior in high school and want to pursue a career in journalism

3) The GO Getter Summer Internship

• The five-week summer internship is an "opportunity for high school students to learn and develop leadership skills"

• Students must be in high school with "good academic standing"

4) Rubin Museum of Art: Teen Art Labs

• A free internship where students explore the city "through artistic and cultural excursions" of art galleries, fancy restaurants, museums, etc.

• Learn the "art of discussion" with other artistic teenagers in New York City

• Application not open, but please check back if interested

5) Computer Science Summer Institute

APPLICATIONS DUE MARCH 5TH, 2015 AT 11:59 PM (ETS)

• An "unforgettable summer program at Google" where students will learn "programming fundamentals directly from Google engineers"

• Students must be a graduating high school senior

• Must have a passion for technology or computer science

6) UN Summer Student Internship 2015

• The five-week internship allows students to gain "insight into global issues, learn how NGO functions at the UN, and discover their individual passion for a cause."

IMPORTANT: Internship has an administrative fee of $1,500. However, they do offer financial assistance.
